How a 5abeer subscription runs the official apps
A monthly plan that runs the official apps through the 5abeer AI app, on your own official account. Pick a plan, then turn it on for each app.
On this page
You subscribe once, and the 5abeer AI app sets your subscription up in each official app you use, such as Claude Code and Codex; then you work in it as usual. Subscribe to the official apps for less than their official price.
What a subscription includes#
- The official apps themselves, as their makers ship them, with no look-alike interfaces.
- Every Bundle plan runs every official app, from the smallest to the largest. Details in What each plan runs.
- Two usage limits only: a 5-hour limit and a weekly limit. Details in Usage limits.
- A fixed price for each 30-day period. Details in Renewal.
Turn your subscription on#
Pick a plan and pay#
Pick your plan on the pricing page and pay the way that suits you. The methods and their steps are in Payment methods.
Download 5abeer AI and sign in#
Download the 5abeer AI app for your computer from the 5abeer AI page, on Mac, Windows or Linux. Then sign in with your 5abeer email and password.
Turn it on for each app#
5abeer AI lists the supported apps on your computer and helps you install the ones you are missing. Press Use 5abeer with next to the app you want. If you have more than one subscription, pick the plan to use with it.
Restart the app#
The app needs a restart to read the new setup. 5abeer AI asks for your permission, then quits and reopens desktop apps for you, so save your work first. It never closes open terminal sessions for you: close them yourself when you are done, then open a new session.
Start working#
Open the official app and work as usual. Activated within minutes, and 5abeer AI shows the state of each app: connected, needs a restart, or needs a review.
On your own official account#
On your own official account: the subscription runs in each app under your official sign-in. That is why some apps ask you to sign in with their official account: Codex asks for your ChatGPT account, and Google Antigravity asks for your Google account. What each app needs is in App by app.
Subscription or API#
| Compare | Subscription | API |
|---|---|---|
| Where you use it | The official apps, through 5abeer AI | Your own code and coding tools |
| How you pay | A fixed price for the plan | As you use it, from your balance |
| What limits your use | A 5-hour limit and a weekly limit | Your balance, and a spend limit if you set one on the key |
| What you need | The 5abeer AI app | An API key per provider |
Your subscription and your balance are separate: API key usage never counts against your plan's limits, and the subscription never draws on your balance unless you turn on Continue from the wallet. To use the models from code, start with the Quickstart. For how this compares with official plans and APIs, read AI subscription vs API.
When 5abeer AI can't set an app up#
The usual way is 5abeer AI, which sets up your subscription for you. If you need to run a supported app somewhere 5abeer AI does not run, such as a remote server, you can request the subscription key for manual use:
- The request is at the bottom of the "Your subscription" page in the dashboard, inside "Advanced settings".
- Choose what you will use the key for and write the reason. We review the request and email you the result.
- The key is personal and works in the supported apps within your subscription. Every reveal and copy is logged, and any use of it counts against your subscription's limits.
- The subscription key is not an API key. For code and automation, create an API key from your balance.
If something goes wrong#
- 5abeer AI shows the state of each app and why a step is stuck, such as a restart or a config file to repair.
- If your plan doesn't include an app, 5abeer AI tells you before you turn it on.
- If the app is installed only inside WSL, 5abeer AI can't set it up yet.
- Contact us with the app's name and what 5abeer AI shows you.
