5abeer vs an official subscription: price and payment
A 5abeer plan or an official ChatGPT or Claude subscription? Price, whose account you use, how you pay, and what a 5abeer plan does not include.
An official subscription is paid directly to OpenAI or Anthropic and works in that company's apps on your phone, in the browser and on your computer. A 5abeer plan runs the official computer apps, such as Claude Code, Codex and ChatGPT Desktop, on your own official account, for less than the official price, with its own 5-hour and weekly limits.
How does 5abeer compare with an official subscription?#

Anthropic says on its pricing page that the prices shown don't include applicable tax. If you subscribe from the phone app, Apple or Google bills you in your local currency, so the price can differ from the website. For local prices, read ChatGPT Plus price in Egypt, Claude Pro and Max price in Egypt or Prices in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Subscribe to the official apps for less than their official price. These are 5abeer's plan prices, in your currency:
| 5abeer plan | Best for | Usage limits | Our price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pro | For everyday use | A 5-hour limit and a weekly limit | 15.99 / month |
| Max (formerly Max 5x) | For heavy daily work | 5× the Pro plan limits | 69.99 / month |
| Ultra (formerly Max 20x) | If you work with it all day | 20× the Pro plan limits | 139.99 / month |
Before you compare the two tables:
- Our plan names, Pro, Max (formerly Max 5x) and Ultra (formerly Max 20x), are 5abeer's plan names, not OpenAI or Anthropic plans, even where a name matches.
- Every Bundle plan runs every official app, from the smallest to the largest. The plans differ in usage limits only: 5abeer's Max gives five times the limits of 5abeer's Pro, and 5abeer's Ultra twenty times.
- If you only use one provider's apps, there are single-provider plans for Claude, GPT and Gemini, described in Which official apps each plan runs.
Whose account do you use?#
On your own official account. You still sign in to each app the way you normally do, and the subscription runs under that sign-in. That is why some apps ask for their official account: Codex asks for your ChatGPT account, and Google Antigravity asks for your Google account. What each app needs is in App by app.
Your 5abeer account is separate. You use it to sign in to the 5abeer AI app and to manage your plan, your payments and your usage from the dashboard.
How do you pay for each?#
The official plans and 5abeer take payment in different ways:
- Anthropic says that for subscriptions bought on the web it only accepts credit or debit cards, and that subscriptions bought in the iPhone or Android app are billed by the App Store or Google Play.
- OpenAI bills ChatGPT subscriptions bought in the App Store or Google Play in local currency. Its help pages say a renewal can fail when you or your card's issuer isn't in a supported country, and suggest checking the card details, the billing address and the expiry date.
- 5abeer takes international cards on Stripe's secure payment page; the card must support international payments. The full card number never reaches us, and we don't store it. The methods available right now show when you pay, as explained in Payment methods.
If your card keeps getting declined on the official sites, Card declined on ChatGPT, Claude or the API explains what to check, and if you are in Egypt, Pay for Claude from Egypt covers the local options.
What doesn't a 5abeer plan include?#
A 5abeer plan isn't a copy of the official plan, so check these points before you choose:
- No phone apps or websites. The subscription works in desktop apps through 5abeer AI on Mac, Windows and Linux, not in the ChatGPT or Claude phone apps or on their websites.
- No WSL-only installs. If an app is installed only inside WSL on Windows, 5abeer AI can't set it up yet.
- Its own limits. Each 5abeer plan has a 5-hour limit and a weekly limit, explained in Usage limits. We don't promise limits matching the official plans.
- Not for your own code. A plan runs the official apps only. Your own code and scripts need an API key, paid from your balance as you use it, as explained on the API page.
- Support from 5abeer. Questions about your 5abeer plan or payment go to 5abeer support, not to OpenAI or Anthropic.
Which one suits you?#
An official subscription suits you if:
- You mostly use ChatGPT or Claude on your phone or in the browser.
- You want your limits and billing to come straight from OpenAI or Anthropic.
- Your card works on their payment pages without problems.
A 5abeer plan suits you if:
- You work on a computer in Claude Code, Codex, Claude Desktop or ChatGPT Desktop.
- You use apps from more than one company and want them on one plan.
- You want to pay less than the official price for the same official apps.
Some people use the official phone app for quick questions and do their longer work on the computer with a 5abeer plan. How one subscription runs several apps is explained in One subscription for ChatGPT, Claude and Antigravity, and the official Claude plans are compared in Claude Pro vs Max.
