Why ChatGPT shows Free on an active subscription

Why your ChatGPT account shows Free while your subscription is active, and what free credit and rewards in your account are.

You may see the word «Free» in two places: on your ChatGPT account, and in your balance with us. Each means something different.

Free or Get Plus in ChatGPT Desktop#

This is normal and expected. Your subscription is with Khabeer, not with OpenAI itself, so OpenAI shows your account as Free. It does not mean your subscription has stopped.

  • Inside ChatGPT Desktop, use your subscription through Codex or the «Work» mode, after you turn on «Use 5abeer with» next to ChatGPT Desktop in the 5abeer AI app.
  • Regular chat in ChatGPT runs on your own OpenAI account.
  • Usage counts against your Khabeer plan. It does not use or affect your ChatGPT account limits.

Free credit and rewards in your account#

Free credit is balance added to your account without a payment, such as referral rewards and rewards for reviews and content.
